Jesus Clares

I’m a computer technician working for a big company. Photography is a hobby for me right now. Always loved it since I was a child. I started making the most of it since I bought my first reflex camera. I usually attend photography workshops everytime I can. In addition to this, I just don’t stop reading photography books and learning thanks to the internet. Back then, when I was a beginner, I used to write my own blog and it was really encouraging to share the stuff I learnt. That was something that made me keep on taking pictures. My interest for cosplay came from my need to find people who wanted to pose for me and show their passion to this beginner photographer. Cosplayers are usually very grateful models and it’s a pleasure for me to portray them. At that time, Nebulaluben trusted me and she gave me my first chance to make a cosplay photo shoot out of a convention. She was very patient with me. Only five pictures were finally released from that shoot. Despite that, she kept on counting on me for her photo shoots and results just became better and better. Thanks to her and his boyfriend, Erikku-kun, and to other great Spanish cosplayers I’m writing this bio now.

How important is Photoshop in your editing?
I think it’s fundamental. For my everyday pictures, it’s enough with the JPEG files from the camera. I can say I am satisfied with that. But, for the photo shoots, I find it essential to have RAW images and Photoshop.
